Join Lauren Toyota on August 10th, 2024 at Karlo Estates Winery (the world's first certified vegan winery, having been awarded 23 gold medal scores in 2021) in Prince Edward County, Ontario (Canada) for a 100% vegan, 200-seat culinary longtable dinner! Walk across the famed Karlo Estates dry-stone bridge (once the largest in Canada) to the mystical longtable dinner setting, nestled in a wild flower field alongside the gently babbling Hubbs Creek and surrounded by lush grape vines. Co-hosted by the incredibly talented Lauren Toyota from hot for food and The Getaway Co. founder Amanda Persi, all of the elements of the retreat, from the vegan food, to the personal connections, to the excursions, to the meditation program, are designed to help participants live life with compassion and purpose.

Led by the wonderful Natalie Matias, participants will also, once again, get to engage in the Live With Purpose meditation program which was custom made for the retreat and coincides with the various activities planned over the 10-day journey.

I’m partnering with The Getaway Co. to bring you another life-changing vegan travel experience – this time in culture-rich Portugal! 

Shocking sunsets, a city trip to Lisbon, tile-painting, wine-tasting, a hike through the village of Sintra and mouth-watering vegan Pastel de Nata are just a few of the awesome highlights we’ll enjoy on this adventure. 

As always, we’ll provide a plant-based menu of delicious hot for food highlights and local cuisine. Believe it or not, Portugal is very progressive in vegan cuisine with a great understanding of what it means to live a plant-based lifestyle.
